Due Diligence Process

Integrity, transparency and accountability are all part of our core values at Fragasso.  Thus, a thorough process is designed to identify the best arrangements for you, your clients and for Fragasso. In preparation for an association, a review of your book of business, your compliance history, a reputational review and a background check will be conducted.

The next step will be to gather an understanding of custodial relationships, operational systems and technology solutions.  We will want to determine system compatibilities, data migration, integrations and all items related to technology – hardware, software and security.  From these factfinding discussions, a detailed plan of deliverables and an onboarding timeline will be agreed upon.

The due diligence and transition process are estimated at 12 weeks.  Timeline and completion are contingent upon the advisor’s responsiveness with deliverables.

Onboarding Process

Once an agreement is in place, pre-onboarding meetings with various representatives of Fragasso’s transition team will be conducted.  The particulars of everything from portfolio models to account administration and an introduction to technology systems will take place.  Another important component of this process will be an overview of the Fragasso compliance policy and procedures.  An initial onsite audit will be scheduled.

An orientation day will be scheduled at the corporate offices of Fragasso Financial Advisors with department leaders to review and discuss our partnership and to provide training, tools and resources.  You will gain a comprehensive understanding of the resources on-hand, and the people who are here to support you, your clients and the growth of your business.

Training and Ongoing Support

During onboarding, a series of training sessions on systems, software, processes and compliance will be offered.  With Fragasso’s Independent Advisor Solutions, you will have access to an advisor portal, which will serve as a hub for documentation and tools to help grow your business.  Follow-up training sessions can be scheduled upon request, many of which can be done online or via video/phone conferencing.
